About
Andrea started the Resilience Found Podcast as a platform to allow others to share their stories of overcoming life’s challenges, in hopes to inspire and encourage others, and let them know, they are not alone.
She has always been naturally curious, a mindful listener and passionate about human connection. Having met an array of unique individuals over 16 years of working in sales and traveling often, she realized genuine connection and the vulnerability of sharing life’s stories, whether positive or negative, really resonated in her heart. After being laid off in 2020 due to the Pandemic COVID-19, she had a forced opportunity to finally put her story out there, and do what she loves, connecting with others, in hopes to be able to help someone else. Everyone is dealt various decks of cards in life, and our mindset as we navigate and deal with these situations, and overcome them, is what ultimately builds resilience.
An unforeseen high-risk pregnancy that had both physical and mental challenges in 2018, was the catalyst that pushed Andrea to want to put her story out there in hopes to help someone else that may be dealing with a similar situation. Andrea details her story in Season 1, Episode 10. While she is passionate around maternal health, her podcast is open to all genders and features an array of journeys and experiences.
Andrea resides in Seattle, Washington, but is proud to have been born and raised in the Midwest. She lives with her husband Nick and son, Alec. She enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures, CrossFit, yoga and spending time near and on the water.
